I have been counselling for several years and have had much life experience, which has contributed to my empathy and understanding of others. Below are details of my counselling philosophy, experience and qualifications.
My Counselling Philosophy
My method of counselling is Person-centred. This means that I believe that each individual is unique and capable of achieving wholeness - mental, physical and spiritual fulfilment.
My counselling philosophy emphasises the relationship between the client and the counsellor, and on the therapeutic changes which can take place when the client is offered warmth, respect and acceptance.
As an Individual member of BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy), I am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and subject to its Professional Conduct.My Counselling Experience

I have helped people with issues such as loss, grief, addiction, difficulties with intimacy, relationships, as well as depression, anxiety and feelings of inadequacy. As a requirement of BACP training, I have also undergone extensive personal counselling. So I know how it feels to be a client.
