Hello, my name is Marléne. I have been counselling for over 15 years. I have helped people from all walks of life and with a range of worries. I have extensive qualifications; and I have also had much life experience, which has contributed to my empathy and understanding.

We are all unique and individual human beings, each with our own personal life story.

We are also all connected; all part of our world and in relationship to each other. In this way we can experience similar certain difficulties and problems.

Sometimes these issues can become overwhelming and we can feel lost, stuck and unable to see a way forward. It is at those times that we need help and support.

Some of the problems we face in life can be:

• Feeling stressed and depressed
• Having Panic Attacks
• Relationship difficulties
• Low self-esteem and lack of confidence
• Coping with loss or bereavement
• Life transitions and wondering what the future holds

• The impact of physical, emotional or sexual abuse

I am a fully qualified counsellor and a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I have extensive qualifications as well as specialist training in several areas.

In my private practice based in Weston-super-Mare, I can offer you a safe and confidential environment, where you can express yourself freely without fear of being judged
